to the
Santa Monica Chapter of the Jaycees.
Do you want to help create positive change in our world? If so, then this is the organization
for you!
If you are not familiar with the Santa Monica
Jaycees, take some time to acquaint yourself with us.
We offer opportunities for leadership development, community service and fellowship for men and women ages
21-39. Members accomplish this through participation in various projects, meetings, learning programs, and events.
Members of the Santa Monica Junior Chamber ("Jaycees") are part of a local network of dynamic young professionals in Santa Monica and across the Westside. They are also members of the California Junior Chamber, the US Junior Chamber, and Junior Chamber International (JCI), a worldwide organization of 200,000 young leaders and entrepreneurs who are located in more than 6,000 communities in over 100 nations throughout the world.
General Membership Meetings are held the second Monday
of each month. Mixers held at a local restaurant or bar are
held the fourth Thursday of each month. Other events and activities take place throughout the year.

Got an idea for a community service project? A fun social event? The perfect fundraiser? Share your ideas with 2005 President Carrie Spencer or any member of the Board of Directors, so we can help put the ideas into reality!
Monthly Membership Meeting.
Our monthly
General Membership Meeting and Social takes place on the 2nd Monday of every month in Santa Monica. Beginning in October 2005, we'll meet over dinner at a local restaurant. Join us at 7:00 PM over dinner to catch up on all the latest information. Visit the Calendar for this month's location.
Monthly Membership Mixer.

Jaycee Community.
The
Santa Monica Jaycees is 1 of over 40 chapters in California. We have nearly 100 active members and an eleven-member board comprised of all volunteers. Our members come from all over Los Angeles. Whether you live or work in Santa Monica or the outlying communities, come find out why this is the best young persons organization.

Individual Membership ($85 PER YEAR).
This basic membership covers local, state, national and international dues, a subscription to our newsletter (The Bell Buoy), and an associate membership in The
Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce. In addition, members are eligible to receive discounts on various products and services.
